Introduction
Many factors have been identified as responsible for students’ underachievement at all levels of educations. Most of the factors are traceable to teachers’ poor teaching methods with little emphasis on assessment skills and research driven instructions. When teachers have issues in assessment skills, their students may not be able to achieve as expected. In the same vein, when teachers do not base their teaching on the outcome of research, their students also may experience underachievement. In order to bridge these gaps, EARNiA announces her 5th International Conference on improving the quality of assessment and research skills in Africa which shall hold in the Republic of Nigeria between 1 and 6 September, 20198 at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Participants are requested to send their abstracts of not more than 200 words to earnia13@gmai.com or info@earnia.org on or before 1 July, 2019.
