Therefore, it follows that those who aspire to be teachers must undergo teaching practice exercise as one of the essential requirements needed for graduation. Writing on the criteria for the organization of teacher education in Nigeria, Ohanado (1994) explains that it should be arranged under the following areas; (1) General education (2) Specialized education focusing on the subject that the teacher is supposed to teach, and (3) Teaching practice. Teaching practice is a necessary ingredient in teacher training and budding teachers must experience it as part of their preparation.
